 I’m happy to share with you another lesson based on a Standard that due to its rich and distinctive harmony, has become a must in every jazz musicians repertoire. As you know I’m referring to “Stella by Starlight” written by Victor Young for the 1944 film, “The Uninvited”. In this tutorial I teach you the chord melody arrangement as well as some very modern re-harmonization techniques you can use to introduce variation when playing this piece.
