Holdsworth Chords

This two-part study shows mainstream jazz guitarists a practical way to bring Allan Holdsworth chord voicings into the standards repertoire. Instead of concentrating on transcribing his lines—which can be difficult to integrate when your ears and instincts are rooted in functional harmony—these lessons focus on Holdsworth's chords as usable harmonic “colors” that can be organized, understood, and applied in familiar contexts.
